WhaleTrails app for iPhone and iPad

Whale trails is an application aimed to help Hummbacks & High-rises with their research about whales and protect marine animals. It will gather data about whales and their behaviour patterns through the use of an implemented GPS system. Users will be able to track whales around the world by simply using the application to take a photo of a whale. The data will then be saved to an online database for further studies about their behaviour patterns and locations. Data will also go run through a software called ArcGIS. The ArcGIS will establish the location and the direction the whales are traveling. The result generated by ArcGIS, which is basically the same as a GPS system displaying the coordinates of the whales.
